Welcome to the Yan/Hopkins family tree database! My name is Madeline Yan (née Hopkins). I started working on genealogy when I inherited my mother's database, more than a year ago. Since then, I have been augmenting the info within the database with updates, and new source documents and photographs. This website is a work-in-progress, so be warned: there may be errors.

I have been verifying information in this system using source documentation, as I find time (and reliable source documentation). One of the major aspects of my work has been to scan old photographs and documentation, some of which are deteriorating. If you have information about anyone in this tree, I'd love to hear from you!
